All In One SEO Pack Vulnerability and Automatic Update

Saturday, May 31st, 2014 / Posted In :Security /  By :Chris Piepho / Leave a comment

There has been a vulnerability identified in All In One SEO Pack that was announced today by Sucuri.

We’ve run automatic updates for this plugin on all client sites running AIO SEO, so your site is protected. You should have received an email if this is the case confirming the upgrade succeeded.

If you do not want the plugin updated, we do have backups available in cPanel under the ‘Bacula4’ icon, or are happy to help roll the plugin back to the previous version for you.

If you received an ‘upgrade failed’ email, this generally indicates that our WP management system believes a site is installed that either no longer exists. You can remove the site in our cPanel (click it’s ‘W’ icon) to fix this. If the site does exist or you would like assistance, just open a ticket in our client area.
